There seem to be no end of celebratory days, weeks, months and years, and I can never keep up. We seem to be in the middle of a whole batch at the moment, it is of course National Year of Reading, but there are a lot of other things going on at the moment:- Thursday (9/10/2008) was National Poetry Day, there are some great resources on the site, the winners Foyle Young Poets of the year award was announced, and there is still time to enter the Children’s Poetry Competition.
- 6-12 October 2008 is Children's Book Week, if nothing else you should check-out the fantastic downloadable poster, but the Cover Design Competition is worth a look too.
